Avalon Skatepark
Frenchs Forest Half Pipe
Classic 10ft vert half pipe hidden out the back of a suburban baseball field. The wooden surface isn’t in great condition and its slippery as hell but a good place for the more serious vert skaters to have a bit of fun. Also a good spot for the noobs to get a feel for a nice size vert ramp – great for carving, pumping and trying vert drop-ins.
Be sure to take some supplies as there isnt much else around the park, although a short drive will get you back to civilisation, food, amenities etc.
Manly Vale Skatepark
Strange little suburban skatepark hidden away in the backstreets of the Northern beaches. All pretty big roll ins, quarters and banks so not for the faint at heart but enough to have some fun with.
